Start as usual 5 a.m. with already extremely humid temperatures. After three miles I was already soaked. Heat and extreme humidity have joined me continuously on my way to New York City.
There is nothing to be mentioned about the route apart from another encounter with a sheriff. Somehow they obviously all want to learn to know me. He gave me strict orders where and how I have to run on “his” road. On the right side of the white line – NO. Left to the white line – YES. He demanded an ID from me. I can only give you a wet tissue. Funny, he didn’t react on that; he obviously does not understand German 
So I followed his instructions as he continued to control me out of his “ambush”. Without any further events I reached today’s destination a campground, beautifully located on a lake.
A far more annoying event occurred today. It is almost impossible to believe what some people seem to be capable of. As you might have noticed, today our website was off the server for quite a while. Though it’s beyond believe but it very much looks as if somebody manipulated it and deleted the whole website. I am speechless. What kind of a person is capable of doing this?
A big THANK YOU to Norbert Sparding who put in a nightshift and got the problem sorted out. Now everything is back online.
